BANDARPUNCH (6387m)
The climb is of Alpine PD/PD+ standard with two high camps on glacier and wonderful climax on the final arete. The route will be led by a qualified British Mountain Guide and assistant. Any fit mountain enthusiast with experience of grade I and II Scottish winter mountaineering or Alpine experience will enjoy this challenge Itinerary: Sept 24-27 50km trek up the beautiful Tons valley to base camp in the meadows of the Ruinsara valley at 4,000m Sept 28-Oct 3: Acclimatisation, training climbs and preparation of the route to 5400m Oct 4-8 Summit attempts on Kalanag (PD/PD+) Oct 10-14 Return trek over 4800m Bali Pass to Yamunotri temple and Yamuna Valley roadhead; bus journey back to Delhi and flight home.
